Propeller

“Hirta” is fitted (2016) with a Darglow “Featherstream” feathering three bladed propeller.

I think this prop can give up to an extra half knot of boat speed.

This prop is greased every year and it’s anode changed as required.

The original fixed three bladed prop and its nut are on the boat.

There is a rope cutter fitted just in front of the prop
