The “cool box” locker has been converted into a proper fridge with access from the galley and the cockpit.

The fridge can make ice.

Extra insulation was added to the exterior of the cool box

There is a thermostat and cooling tray/ice box in the fridge with the water cooled compressor fitted nearby.

The heat exchanger unit for the compressor is integral to the galley sink skin fitting. This means that the heat exchanger is water rather than air cooled and thus consumes less electricity
