Capping rail

Driven by the wind, powered by the sun, steered by the wind. Sail now

The capping rail, top of the toe rail, was entirely rebuilt in 2015/6

The original material was entirely removed.

The filler, originally referred to as “putty” below the original rail was removed and a square section hardwood rail was epoxied into place

A solid teak capping rail was then epoxied and screwed into this strong and solid foundation
