R34 “Hirta” is for sale

This is a Blue Water ready boat, fully equipped for ocean sailing and perfect for coastal cruising. A Rival 34 is acknowledged to be a superb sailing boat and a deep keeled 34 is the best of superb.

This boat has been surveyed within the last 10 years (2022) and can therefore get fully comprehensive (Includes wreck removal) insurance. This is becoming an increasingly common requirement in UK harbours (Third Party insurance seldom, if ever includes wreck removal)

“Hirta” has been kept on a swinging mooring on the West Coast of Scotland but is currently ashore in Granton, Edinburgh. The boat yard is 35 minutes from the airport on the no 17 bus, 30 minutes from the station with a variety of buses

She is due to be lifted into the water on 11th April
